Harding's Reach is a popular family vacation cottage in the heart of PEI’s central north shore and is minutes from great beaches, restaurants, golf, family fun, local entertainment and the Cavendish Beach Resort. This waterfront property is nestled on a 1.6 acre lot with mature trees – offering an extremely private/sheltered setting and beautiful southern exposure while overlooking the water.
The spacious yard provides plenty of grass for playing or lounging. And while we're on the topic of play, we should also mention the large sand area directly off the back deck (with toys) and the kid’s cedar playhouse situated among the trees. A white cedar deck completely surrounds the cottage and offers a wonderful outdoor living space to dine, lounge with your morning coffee, relax with a book (or chilled drinks) or boat watch on the comfortable Adirondack chairs - there are 6 of them. There have also been many little feet that have had a blast racing around the 'deck circuit'. In the evening, guests can create lasting vacation memories around the bonfire pit - just off the main deck. It too overlooks the water.
Harding’s Reach immediately embraces you with its coastal interior design throughout the air-conditioned living room, dining room and separate lounge area. That cozy feeling continues in the well-appointed galley kitchen, large bathroom (including full-size laundry), two bedrooms and a well-organized entry with custom built-ins. The living, dining (seats 6) and lounge areas overlook the river through a 46 foot expansive width of windows. You can see the water from practically everywhere in the cottage – there’s really nothing more to say about the panoramic views!
The queen bedroom is private and to the right of the entry. It provides a relaxing beachy atmosphere overlooking the river with his and her closets, a huge window with black-out blind and Smart TV (i.e. Netflix). The second bedroom – with a single over double bunk bed – is located off the living room and has a comfy nautical theme, big closet with built-in shelving and a large window. There is a sofa bed in the living room to sleep an extra child or two. The cottage accommodates a maximum of 6.
Amenities include Smart TV’s, satellite in the living room, wifi, a desk, linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs (4x), Adirondack chairs (6x), deck dining (table and 4 dining chairs), propane BBQ, and a well-appointed kitchen.
