Please Note: As of March 2015… Bordeaux Beach has had a kitchen upgrade (new fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave) and a new washer and dryer. We also furnished 2 additional bedrooms - one queen and one with 2 single beds (new furnishings and mattresses), and completed a second family room on the lower level with the three bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
Bordeaux Beach is surrounded by acres of treed privacy and 400' of water frontage. Stairs lead its guests directly to the shore below where water and beachcombing await. The large lot (and no traffic) ensures an extremely safe green space for both children and parents to enjoy in a relaxed environment.
The home has 6 bedrooms and 3 baths (sleeps 14) on three levels. The kitchen is completely equipped and offers the chef a fantastic water view. There is also direct access to the wrap-around deck and BBQ via the kitchen and dining areas. The open-concept main level has access to the waterfront deck through large French doors. The dining area seats 8 with extra stools at the kitchen bar for additional diners and 2 picnic tables – just through the French doors – offer an expanded eating area outside. The living room has comfortable seating, flat screen satellite TV and clear sight lines through the dining and kitchen areas to allow for unobstructed family vacation time.
A second family room is located on the lower floor and offers comfortable seating, large satellite TV, and a quiet escape space for young and old. The couch includes a sofa bed to sleep 2 more.
Bordeaux Beach also provides a detached games room with two large sets of patio doors to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor play. This space is a great bonus for families with children who want to enjoy their own space - playing foosball and air hockey - yet are always in clear sight of parents from the main deck.
The entire second floor consists of a private master bedroom (queen bed), ensuite (sink, shower & toilet) and lounge area. A bank of windows overlook the water and shoreline of PEI from the master room. The main level hosts two additional bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with two single beds) and the fourth, fifth and sixth bedrooms (2 queen beds and 2 single beds) are located on the lower level and provide large windows. The spacious bathroom on this level has double sinks, a huge tiled shower and toilet.
The home provides a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, Netflix, wifi, linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, deck chairs, picnic tables, BBQ and a bonfire pit.
Bordeaux Beach is conveniently located within a 10-15 minute drive of world-class golf, Cavendish Resort, Anne of Green Gables, local live entertainment, restaurants, fresh seafood and shopping. Charlottetown and Summerside are approximately 35 and 25 minutes away.
